Ronald Chapman, Sarah Chapman Injured in Truck Accident on I-45 in Freestone County, TX

Freestone County, TX — August 15, 2023, Ronald and Sarah Chapman were injured in a truck accident around 11:30 a.m. on I-45 in Freestone County.

According to sources, the victims' Subaru Forester was northbound in between a 2011 Freightliner and a 2023 Kenworth semi-truck when the traffic began to slow. The 2023 Kenworth allegedly rear-ended the Forester, sandwiching the passenger car between the two semi-trucks.

Officials released that Ronald Chapman and Sarah Chapman sustained serious injuries while neither of the truck drivers were injured.

Police recommended sharing the Freightliner with "failure to control speed."
