Cesar Tejeda Injured in Car Accident in Jim Wells County, TX

Jim Wells County, TX — August 14, 2023, Cesar Tejeda sustained injuries as the result of a car accident just before midnight along U.S. Highway 281.

Authorities said in their statements that the crash took place at approximately 11:41 p.m. in the area of the U.S. 281 and County Road 119 intersection.

According to current public information, 46-year-old Cesar Tejeda was in a Ford Ranger reportedly going northbound along the highway. For reasons which cannot be confirmed right now, the vehicle drifted off the left side of the road initially before then veering back across the opposite side. The vehicle overturned in the process, ultimately ending up off the side of the road.

Tejeda was said to have incapacitating injuries as a result of the accident. There did not appear to be any other passengers involved, and authorities made no mention of other vehicles being involved, either. Further information is unavailable at this time.
