Tyler, TX — September 9, 2023, Austin W. Winters was killed in a single-vehicle accident on County Road 413 in Tyler, TX.

Authorities indicate that on September 9, a fatal crash occurred when a GMC Envoy crashed along County Road 413 for unknown reasons. According to reports, the crash happened around 7:18 in the morning.

Investigators say the GMC was heading south along County Road 413 when it suddenly drove off the road and struck a metal fence. Sources say the vehicle also hit a drain pipe beneath the road.

Officials confirmed the GMC driver, 24-year-old Austin W. Winters, suffered fatal injuries in the crash. No other injuries were reported, and no other vehicles were involved. Police are investigating the events that led to the crash.
