Woman Killed in Semi-Truck Accident on Antelope Valley Freeway in Palmdale, CA

Palmdale, CA — September 9, 2023, a woman was killed in a semi-truck collision on the Antelope Valley Freeway, south of 10th Street West, in Palmdale, CA.

Authorities indicate that on September 9, a fatal crash occurred when a Honda and a semi-truck collided in Palmdale for unknown reasons. According to reports, the crash happened shortly before 3:00 in the morning.

Investigators say the Honda was heading south along Antelope Valley Freeway (State Route 14) when it suddenly struck the guardrail and came to a halt. Police say an oncoming semi-truck then struck the Honda.

Officials confirmed the Honda driver, a 45-year-old woman whose name has not been released, suffered fatal injuries. Authorities report that the semi-truck driver, Yahweh Yahweh, wasn't hurt in the crash. No additional details have been released at this time.

No other injuries were reported.
