Willie King Jr. Killed in Single-Vehicle Accident in Nacogdoches County, TX

Nacogdoches County, TX — August 20, 2023, Willie King Jr. was fatally injured as the result of a single-vehicle accident at around 3:12 a.m. along F.M. 1638.

Preliminary information about the accident took place near the intersection of Farm-to-Market 1638 and Westward Drive.

According to details from authorities, 42-year-old Willie King Jr. was in a Cadillac Escalade traveling northwest along F.M. 1638. While rounding a curve, the vehicle somehow went off the side of the road where it went across a driveway, then overturned back across the roadway.

As a result of the accident, King ultimately succumbed to fatal injuries. There did not appear to be any other passengers, and details make no mention of other motorists being involved in the accident. Right now, no further information about the crash can be confirmed.
