Sean O. Leary Killed in Motorcycle/Car Accident near Tyler, TX

Tyler, TX — September 8, 2023, Sean O. Leary was killed in a motorcycle/car collision on Highway 155 at County Road 196 near Tyler, TX.

Authorities indicate that on September 8, a fatal crash occurred when a motorcycle, a Toyota, and a Chrysler collided near Tyler for unknown reasons. According to reports, the accident happened at approximately 4:00 in the afternoon.

Investigators say the motorcyclist was traveling south along Highway 155 when it arrived at the intersection where the Chrysler was at a stop sign. The Chrysler and the Toyota approached the intersection from County Road 196. Police say the motorcycle was not given the right of way, causing the bike and the Chrysler to crash. The accident reportedly involved the Toyota, but the details are unclear.

Officials confirmed the motorcyclist, Sean O. Leary, 39, suffered fatal injuries. No other injuries were reported.

The investigation is ongoing.
