Fannin County, TX — August 24, 2023, a man sustained injuries as the result of a car accident at around 5:33 p.m. along Highway 121.

According to information about the accident released by authorities, the incident happened Highway 121 in the area of F.M. 898.

Investigators said in their statements that a 28-year-old was on a motorcycle traveling southbound along the highway. At the F.M. 898 intersection, police say that a northbound Silverado failed to yield making a left turn. It entered the path of the motorcycle, resulting in a collision.

The motorcyclist sustained incapacitating injuries as a result of the accident. There were no other confirmed injuries. At this time, details allege that the Silverado driver had been drinking, and there were recommendations for the driver to be charges with intoxication assault.
