One Killed in Pedestrian-Car Accident on Highway 71 in Del Valle, TX

Del Valle, TX — September 6, 2023, a pedestrian was killed in a collision with a motor vehicle around 9:15 p.m. on Highway 71 in Del Valle.

According to sources, the pedestrian was in the 3100 block of East Hwy. 71 on the westbound side when they were struck by an SUV. The pedestrian was reportedly pronounced deceased at the collision scene. The driver of the SUV was later evaluated at the hospital for possible injuries.

Authorities have not released any other details at this time.
