Kenneth Duckworth Killed in Pedestrian-Car Accident on Highway 78 in Fannin County, TX

Fannin County, TX — September 1, 2023, Kenneth Duckworth was killed in a pedestrian-car accident around 9:40 p.m. on Hwy. 78 in Fannin County.

Authorities report the 87-year-old victim was walking along Highway 78 when he was struck by a Ford F-150. Mr. Duckworth sustained fatal injuries.

The driver of the pickup truck reportedly stayed at the accident scene, however, the cause of the crash has not been released.

Authorities have not released any other details at this time.
