8-Year-Old Killed, Kyle Wilson, China Gunn, 10-Year-Old, 6-Year-Old Injured in Single-Vehicle Accident on F.M. 151 in Fannin County, TX

Fannin County, TX — September 7, 2023, an 8-year-old was killed, and Kyle Wilson, China Gunn, a 10-year-old, and a 6-year-old were injured in a car crash around 10 p.m. on F.M. 151 in Fannin County.

According to investigators, the victims were traveling north on F.M. 151, about 2 miles north of Trenton, TX near Co. Rd. 4446, when for some reason their Cadillac XTS veered off the roadway and collided with a metal pipe fence and a tree.

Officials report the 8-year-old passenger was killed, the 6-year-old and China Gunn suffered "stable" injuries, and the 10-year-old and Kyle Wilson sustained "critical" injuries. All of the injured victims were reportedly transported to Medical City McKinney, except for Mr. Wilson who was purportedly taken to Medical City Plano.

Authorities have not released the cause of the crash at this time.
