Israel Valentin Olivo, Marina Hernandez De Olivo Injured in Car Accident in Fort Worth, TX

Fort Worth, TX — August 20, 2023, Israel Olivo and Marina Hernandez De Olivo were injured as the result of a car accident at 3:26 p.m. along N. Main Street.

According to officials, the incident happened off the corner of the North Main Street/Business 287 and N.W. 30th Street intersection.

Investigators said that 23-year-old Israel Olivo, 50-year-old Marina Hernandez De Olivo, and two others were in a Dodge Caravan going southbound on Main Street. At the 30th Street intersection, authorities say an eastbound GMC Sierra turned left onto Main Street, somehow going across the center turn lane and into southbound lanes. As a result, the GMC crashed with the Dodge.

As a result of the crash, the driver of the GMC reportedly had incapacitating injuries. Israel Olivo and two other occupants in the Dodge were said to have non-incapacitating injuries. It's unclear whether or not Marina Hernandez De Olivo had injuries. Authorities said they were looking into the possibility of alcohol contributing to the crash. This and other factors remain unconfirmed.
