Thomas Robert Ramirez, 1 Injured in Car Accident in Garland, TX

Garland, TX — August 25, 2023, Thomas Robert Ramirez and another were injured following a car accident at around 7:52 p.m. along Highway 66.

Investigators said that the incident occurred in the area of the Highway 66 and Hebron Drive intersection.

Officials said that that 54-year-old Thomas Ramirez was in a Chevy Impala reportedly traveling westbound along the highway. Due to reasons currently unconfirmed, the vehicle lost control. This resulted in the car going left of center into oncoming lanes where it collided with a Chevy Malibu which was then rear-ended by a Hyundai Santa Fe.

As a result of the accident, Ramirez had apparently incapacitating injuries. The driver of the Malibu, a 24-year-old Royse City man, had non-incapacitating injuries, authorities say. There did not appear to be any other injuries. Right now, further information about the accident cannot be confirmed.
