Connie Horn Injured in Car Accident in Hewitt, TX

Hewitt, TX — August 20, 2023, Connie Horn sustained injuries due to a car accident at around 5:59 a.m. along South Hewitt Drive.

Authorities said that the crash happened off the corner of Hewitt Drive (F.M. 1695) off the corner of Windhill Road. This crash happened following an initial collision which injured Marcos Cordero Perez and Nathan Beck.

Initially, a crash between a northbound Mazda and a southbound vehicle left the Mazda disabled across southbound lanes. Some time following this, 77-year-old Connie Horn came upon the scene in a Hyundai Santa Fe. Authorities believe the Mazda had no lights on due to the crash, and Horn's vehicle crashed into it.

As a result of the collision, Horn sustained non-incapacitating injuries. There were other injuries possibly relating to the initial collision. Right now, exact circumstances remain unconfirmed.
