Andrew Huddleston Killed in Truck Accident in Culpeper County, VA

Culpeper County, VA — September 6, 2023, Andrew Huddleston was fatally injured due to a semi-truck accident at 8:57 a.m. along Zachary Taylor Highway.

Investigations from the Virginia State Police say that the crash took place in the area of Zachary Taylor Highway (Route 522) and Rapidan Road (Route 615), south of Culpeper.

According to current information, 27-year-old Andrew Huddleston was in a Honda Accord traveling northbound along Zachary Taylor. From oncoming lanes, authorities say that a southbound tractor-trailer somehow lost control while trying to avoid a vehicle ahead slowing to make a left turn. The tractor-trailer went into northbound lanes, crashing into Huddleston's vehicle.

As a result of the collision, Huddleston sustained fatal injuries. The truck driver reportedly had minor injuries. Right now, the exact factors leading to the crash are still under investigation. No charges or citations have been reported at this time.
