Jeffery Briggs, Lauren Nystrom Injured in Motorcycle Accident in Atascadero, CA

Atascadero, CA — June 3, 2023, Jeffery Briggs and Lauren Nystrom were injured in a motorcycle accident on Highway 101 near the San Ramon exit in Atascadero, CA.

Authorities indicate that on June 3, an accident occurred when a motorcycle crashed in Atascadero. According to reports, the crash happened at about 9:30 at night near the San Ramon exit.

Investigators say that the motorcyclist was traveling in the southbound lane of Highway 101 when the bike had a mechanical malfunction. Sources say the two motorcycle occupants were ejected from the bike, resulting in both people sustaining injuries.

Officials say the motorcycle driver, Jeffery Briggs, had minor injuries. The motorcycle passenger, Lauren Nystrom, reportedly suffered a severe head injury. Both were taken to an area hospital for medical attention. No further information is available.
