Two Killed in Vehicle Accident on Highway 175 near Kaufman, TX

Kaufman, TX — September 6, 2023, two were killed in a car accident on Highway 175 in the area of Jiba Road, near Kaufman, TX.

Authorities indicate that on September 6, a fatal accident occurred when a Ford pickup crashed near Kaufman for unknown reasons. According to reports, the crash happened around 5:34 in the afternoon.

Investigators say the pickup was traveling along Highway 175 when it suddenly left the roadway and hit a creek bed. Authorities have not determined what caused the accident.

Officials confirmed the pickup driver and a passenger, whose names have not been released, suffered fatal injuries in the crash. No other injuries were reported, and no additional details are available at this time.

The investigation is ongoing.
