Ernest Palacio Jr. Killed in a Pedestrian-Car Accident on S. Loop 289 in Lubbock, TX

Lubbock, TX — September 10, 2023, Ernest Palacio Jr. was killed in a pedestrian-car accident around 9 p.m. on S. Loop 289 in Lubbock.

According to sources, the victim was walking in the 1900 block of South Loop 289 when he was struck by an unknown vehicle. The vehicle reportedly failed to stop and render aid.

Mr. Palacio Jr. was purportedly pronounced deceased at the crash site.

Police are asking the public for help in locating the perpetrator.
