Adrian Escamilla Injured in Car Accident in McAllen, TX

Hidalgo County, TX — August 14, 2023, Adrian Escamilla was injured following a single-vehicle accident at around 1:14 a.m. along the I-2 frontage road.

According to officials who investigated the crash, it happened along Expressway 83/Interstate 2 frontage road just off the Fresno Avenue intersection.

In their statements, investigators said that 40-year-old Adrian Escamilla was in a Toyota Tundra reportedly going southwest along the frontage road. For reasons unclear at this time, the vehicle hit the inside barrier, then veered to the right off-road. The vehicle continued off-road where it crashed into a cement pillar.

Escamilla was said to have incapacitating injuries as a result of the accident. There were no other confirmed injuries, and authorities did not mention anyone else being involved. No further information about the accident is available at this time.
