Stephen Figures, Tyshaniqua Boyd, Child Injured in Car Accident in Georgetown, TX

Williamson County, TX — August 13, 2023, Stephen Figures, Tyshaniqua Nicole Boyd, and a child were injured in a car accident at around 4:25 p.m. on D. B. Wood Road.

According to information about the crash initially released by authorities, the incident happened near the intersection of D. B. wood Road and Lake Overlook Road.

Investigators said that 31-year-old Tyshaniqua Boyd was in a Hyundai Elantra going northbound along D. B. Wood. 31-year-old Stephen Figures was said to be in a Kia Sportage going southbound. Due to a series of events not entirely confirmed, the Kia apparently crossed into the oncoming lanes where it crashed with the Hyundai.

As a result of the accident, Boyd had incapacitating injuries while Figures and a 7-year-old child in the Kia had apparently non-incapacitating injuries. No further information about the accident can be confirmed.
