Edgar Jose Garcia, 1 Killed in Car Accident in Conroe, TX

Conroe, TX — September 9, 2023, Edgar Jose Garcia and another teenager were killed following a single-vehicle accident at 12:45 a.m. along N. Loop 336.

Officials said that they were called out to the intersection of North Loop 336 and Airport Road early Saturday morning.

According to currently public statements, 19-year-old Edgar Jose Garcia and a 17-year-old were in a Chevy Camaro going eastbound along Loop 336. Approaching the intersection, the vehicle somehow lost control, causing it to run off the side of the road. There, the Camaro went through a ditch, overturned, and caught fire.

Details say that Garcia and the passenger were both ejected from the vehicle during the crash. As a result, both victims succumbed to their injuries. Currently, there are no further confirmed details available. Investigations appear to be ongoing.
