2 Killed, Three Injured in Multi-Vehicle Accident on Crenshaw Road in Pasadena, TX

Pasadena, TX — September 9, 2023, two people were killed, and three others were injured in a multi-vehicle accident around  5:41 p.m. at Crenshaw Road and the Beltway 8 access road in Pasadena.

Initial reports say a silver Nissan sedan and a red truck collided at the intersection of Crenshaw Rd. and Beltway 8 access road, and the collision reportedly caused the truck to spin and collide with the sedan a second time.

According to investigators, witnesses alleged that the silver sedan ran a red light, however, officials have not confirmed this information. Some news sources state that witnesses claimed the driver of the sedan allegedly attempted to flee from the crash on foot but was quickly apprehended.

Updates regarding this crash now claim four vehicles were involved, but do not specify the make or model of the other two cars.

According to officials, two of the passengers in the sedan were pronounced deceased at the accident scene, three others purportedly sustained injuries in the collision, and one of those injured was reportedly air-lifted with serious injuries.

Investigators have not released what factors led up to the accident. However, police are purportedly asking the public for help in locating a motorcycle driver who was allegedly seen arguing with the driver of the Nissan at the intersection of Beltway 8 frontage road and Genoa Red-Bluff Road moments before the crash. Authorities reportedly hope this motorcycle driver will have more information about this incident.
