Two Injured in Car Accident on Poage Avenue in San Antonio, TX

Killeen, TX — September 6, 2023, two people were injured in a motor vehicle crash around 9:44 p.m. on W.S. Young Drive in Killeen.

According to authorities, a police officer saw two vehicles allegedly racing and was beginning to attempt a traffic stop when his patrol car reportedly collided with an eastbound red passenger car at Poage Avenue.

The impact reportedly caused both the driver and the passenger of the red car to be ejected and sustain injuries. The extent of their injuries was not released.

Authorities have not released any other details at this time.
