Brian Dennis Lockwood Killed in Single-Vehicle Accident on E. Central Freeway in Wichita Falls, TX

Wichita Falls, TX — September 10, 2023, Brian Dennis Lockwood was killed in a motorcycle crash near 2500 East Central Freeway in Wichita Falls.

According to investigators, Wichita Falls patrol officers were called out to a possible motorcycle crash around 9:42 a.m. When they began to investigate, officials reportedly found Brian Dennis Lockwood deceased in a fountain at the base of a natural stone hardscape sign for the city.

Authorities believe Mr. Lockwood was traveling west along the freeway when his motorcycle somehow lost control, slid down a median, overturned, and landed in the pond.

The estimated time of the accident has not been released. Additionally, an image from the crash scene shown on a few news sources does not match the provided location when it is viewed on Google Maps.

Reports indicate authorities have not determined the cause of the crash.
