One Injured in Alleged Hit-and-Run on W. Howard Lane in Austin, TX

Austin, TX — August 30, 2023, one person was injured in an alleged hit-and-run accident around 5:20 p.m. at W. Howard Ln. and I-35 SB in Austin.

According to authorities, the victim was traveling south on the I-35 service road when their vehicle was allegedly rear-ended. The vehicle that struck the victim then reportedly left the accident scene.

Camera footage was purportedly obtained from a Valero gas station located at 1310 W Howard Ln. and the suspected vehicle is believed to be a Ford Expedition King Ranch Edition.

The victim's injuries were not specified, and police are asking the public for assistance in locating the suspect.
