Joshua Clay Martin Injured in Motorcycle Accident in Van Zandt County, TX

Van Zandt County, TX — August 3, 2023, Joshua Clay Martin was injured following a motorcycle accident at around 1:34 a.m. along Highway 110.

Authorities said in preliminary statements about the crash that it took place along the highway near the intersection of County Road 1602.

Investigators said that 34-year-old Joshua Clay Martin was riding a Yamaha motorcycle. Martin was reportedly traveling southbound along the highway at the time when it appears the motorcycle hit a deer. Details at this time say this resulted in incapacitating injuries, for which Martin went to an area hospital.

Authorities have not given enough information to confirm any additional details about the accident.
