Lidia Velazquez Garcia Killed in Car Accident on C.R. 611 in Brazoria County, TX

UPDATE (September 22, 2023): Details from authorities identified the woman killed in the accident as Lidia Velazquez Garcia. Right now, additional details about the crash remain unconfirmed.

Brazoria County, TX — June 19, 2023, a Holiday Lakes woman was fatally injured as the result of a car accident at around 9:41 p.m. along County Road 611.

Investigators said in their preliminary public statements that the accident occurred near the intersection of County Road 611 and County Road 30.

According to officials, a 37-year-old Holiday Lakes woman was in a Nissan Maxima going eastbound along C.R. 611. At the C.R. 30 intersection, the vehicle somehow did not navigate a curve, resulting in the vehicle running off-road. There, the vehicle flipped over.

The driver of the Nissan was thrown from the vehicle during the rollover. Ultimately resulted in fatal injuries. There did not appear to be anyone else involved in the accident. Right now, no further information about the crash can be confirmed.
