Sydney Lynn Jones Killed in Car Accident in Cleburne, TX

Johnson County, TX — August 19, 2023, Sydney Lynn Jones sustained fatal injuries as the result of a single-vehicle accident at 3:15 a.m. along South Main Street.

According to initial details released by authorities, the incident took place along Highway 174/South Main Street near County Road 1112.

Investigators said that 22-year-old Sydney Lynn Jones was in a Honda Civic reportedly going southbound on Main Street. While rounding a curve, the vehicle somehow went off the right side of the roadway. There, the Honda crashed into a tree.

Jones sustained fatal injuries as a result of the crash. There was no one else mentioned by authorities as being involved in the accident. Right now, no further information can be confirmed regarding the exact cause of the accident.
