Adrienne Ann Garza Killed in Alleged Drunk Driver Accident in Edinburg, TX

Edinburg, TX — September 9, 2023, Adrienne Ann Garza was killed following an alleged drunk driver accident at around 2:09 a.m. on Trenton Road.

Investigators said in their statements that the incident took place in the area of Trenton Road and Closner Boulevard.

According to officials, 26-year-old Adrienne Ann Garza was in a vehicle said to be crossing through the Trenton and Closner Boulevard intersection. While doing so, authorities allege that a Chevy Silverado ran a red light, crashing into Garza's vehicle.

As a result of the collision, Garza succumbed to fatal injuries. One other person in Garza's vehicle sustained unspecified injuries. Right now, authorities allege that the driver of the Chevy was drunk at the time of the crash. They arrested that driver, but specific charges are not clear at this time.
