One Killed in Dump Truck Accident on Route 209 in Llewellyn, PA

Llewellyn, PA — September 6, 2023, a person was killed in a dump truck crash on Route 209 in Branch Township, Llewellyn, PA.

Authorities indicate that on September 6, a fatal accident occurred when a van and a dump truck collided in Branch Township for unknown reasons. According to reports, the crash happened around 7:45 in the morning.

Investigators say the dump truck was traveling north on Route 209 and was partially in the oncoming lane when the crash occurred. The vehicles reportedly collided and came to a halt off of the roadway.

Officials confirmed the van driver, whose name has not been released, suffered fatal injuries. No other injuries were reported. Additional details have not been released at this time.

Authorities are continuing to investigate the events that led to the crash.
