15-Year-Old Injured in Bus Accident on Elm St. in Dallas, TX

Dallas, TX — August 3, 2023, a 15-year-old was injured when struck by a transit bus around 9:25 a.m. on Elm Street, near N. Pearl St. in Dallas.

Sources report the 15-year-old was on an electric scooter heading west alongside Elm St. when for some reason the scooter lost control and overturned. This purportedly ejected the juvenile into the road and he was then struck by a westbound Dallas Rapid Transit Bus.

The minor was reportedly transported to a hospital with serious injuries. No other injuries were reported.

Investigators have not released what factors led up to the accident.
