One Injured in Single-Vehicle Truck Accident on Billy The Kid St. in El Paso, TX

El Paso, TX — August 4, 2023, one person was injured in a single-vehicle truck accident around 1 p.m. on Billy The Kid St. in El Paso.

According to authorities, the victim pulled his Austin Truner Trucking Inc. semi-truck, got out of the vehicle, and walked to the back of the trailer, when the truck began to roll forward. The victim reportedly attempted to run back to the cab of the semi-truck when he allegedly fell to the ground and was struck by the rolling truck's rear tires.

First responders purportedly attended to the victim's injuries at the crash site and then transported him to a hospital for further care.

Authorities have not released any other details at this time.
