Two Women, Child Injured in Car Accident on F.M. 945 in San Jacinto County, TX

San Jacinto County, TX — July 15, 2023, three people were injured as the result of a single-vehicle car accident at around 10:28 p.m. along F.M. 945.

According to preliminary statements released by authorities, the crash took place outside of Coldspring at the intersection of Farm-to-Market 945 and L Green Road.

Officials said that a 26-year-old woman, a 25-year-old woman, and a 6-year-old child were in a Hyundai Elantra going southbound on the roadway. For reasons which cannot be confirmed at this time, the vehicle drifted right off the roadway, then veered to the left. It careened off-road, then across L Green Road before crashing into a boulder.

As a result of the crash, the 26-year-old woman had incapacitating injuries. The other woman and the child were said to have non-incapacitating injuries. Right now, additional details about the accident are unavailable.
