Brittany Riley Schedler, 2 Injured in Semi-truck Accident in Wilson, TX

Wilson, TX — July 10, 2023, Brittany Riley Schedler and two minors were injured due to a semi-truck accident at around 9:27 a.m. along Highway 97.

Preliminary information about the accident indicates that it happened along eastbound lanes of the highway in the area of the Farm-to-Market 2505 intersection.

Details suggest that 32-year-old Brittany Riley Schedler and two passengers, ages 14 and 12, were in a Ford F-250 going eastbound on Highway 97. Authorities say that Schedler may have been in the process of making a u-turn when an 18-wheeler, also going eastbound, crashed into the side of the pickup. This sent the pickup overturning off-road.

Due to the collision, Schedler and the two minors in the Ford had injuries described as incapacitating. It appears the truck driver was not harmed. There were no other vehicles involved. Right now, additional details about the crash cannot be confirmed.
