Michael Paul Dodd Jr. Killed in Motorcycle Accident in Comanche County, TX

Comanche County, TX — August 19, 2023, Michael Paul Dodd Jr. was fatally injured due to a motorcycle accident at around 9:50 p.m. along West Central Avenue.

Authorities said in preliminary statements that the incident took place in the area of the West Central Avenue and South Houston Street intersection.

According to officials, 46-year-old Michael Dodd Jr. was said to be operating a Harley-Davidson going eastbound on Central Avenue. At the Houston Street intersection, a collision occurred between Dodd's motorcycle and a southbound Dodge Ram.

As a result of the collision, Dodd sustained injuries which ultimately proved to be fatal. There were no other reported injuries for others involved in the collision, police say. At this time, no further information about the crash can be confirmed based on publicly available details.
