Four Killed in Truck Accident on Britton Highway in Macon Township, MI

Macon Township, MI — September 4, 2023, four people were killed in a truck accident around 10:30 a.m. on Britton Highway in Macon Township.

According to officials, the victims were traveling south on Britton Hwy. in a Ford F-150, approaching Milwaukee Rd. when their vehicle was allegedly struck by an eastbound Ford F-250.

Three of the F-150's occupants were purportedly pronounced deceased at the scene, and the fourth occupant was reportedly taken to ProMedica Hickman Hospital where he ultimately succumbed to his injuries. Officials also report the F-250 driver was taken to St. Joseph Mercy Ann Arbor with serious injuries.

Authorities have not released the cause of the crash at this time.
