Nam Thien Nguyen Killed in Semi-Truck Accident in Westlake, TX

Denton County, TX — August 13, 2023, Nam Thien Nguyen was killed as the result of a commercial truck accident around midnight on Highway 114.

Authorities said in preliminary statements that the incident took place along westbound lanes of the highway in the area of Trophy Club Drive.

According to officials, 28-year-olod Nam Thien Nguyen of Fort Worth was in a Dodge Challenger traveling along the highway. Ahead, there was reportedly a tractor-trailer parked along the shoulder due to mechanical issues. Due to a series of events not entirely clear, Nguyen's vehicle crashed into the back of the 18-wheeler.

As a result of the crash, Nguyen sustained injuries which proved to be fatal. There were no other reported injuries. Right now, there are no additional details about the crash available to the public.
