One Killed in Hit-and-Run Accident on Parker Road in Houston, TX

Houston, TX — July 12, 2023, a person was killed in a hit-and-run collision at 2600 Parker Road in Harris County, Houston, TX.

Authorities indicate that on July 12, a fatal crash occurred when a man on a dirt bike collided with a dump truck on Parker Road for unknown reasons. According to reports, the crash happened at approximately 4:15 in the afternoon in Harris County.

Investigators say the dirt bike rider was traveling north along Shady Lane when he made contact with the dump truck. Police say the dirt bike rider proceeded from a stop sign and collided with the truck heading east on Parker Road.

Officials confirmed the 31-year-old male dirt bike rider, whose name has not been released, suffered fatal injuries in the crash. Police say the dump truck driver left the accident scene.

The investigation is ongoing.
