2 Injured in Truck Accident on Spencer Highway in South Houston, TX

Harris County, TX — July 22, 2023, two people were injured as the result of a dual truck accident at around 2:25 p.m. along Spencer Highway.

Authorities said in their statements that the crash took place near the intersection of Spencer Highway and 6th Street.

According to officials, a commercial vehicle and a Dodge Ram were both traveling along eastbound lanes of Spencer Highway. It appears the commercial vehicle was attempting to turn into a business at the time when the Dodge somehow crashed into it.

This collision resulted in the commercial vehicle driver sustaining incapacitating injuries, authorities say. The Dodge driver reportedly had non-incapacitating injuries. No further information about the cause of the crash can be confirmed at this time.
