Teenager Injured in Single-Vehicle Accident on U.S. Highway 59 in Nacogdoches County, TX

Nacogdoches County, TX — July 21, 2023, a teenager was injured following a single-vehicle accident that happened after midnight along U.S. Highway 59.

According to initial statements about the single-vehicle wreck, the crash happened along northbound lanes of U.S. 59 near the intersection of Hidden Valley Drive.

Officials said that the incident involved a 17-year-old boy behind the wheel of a Chevy Silverado going northbound along U.S. 59. For reasons unconfirmed right now, the vehicle veered left off the side of the road where it went through a ditched and overturned into the tree line.

As a result of the accident, the teen driver sustained injuries which were considered incapacitating by officials. There did not appear to be anyone else involved in the crash. Currently, no further information is available.
