13-year-old Injured in Alleged DWI Accident on I-20 in Parker County, TX
Parker County, TX — July 10, 2023, a 13-year-old was injured following an accident involving an allegedly intoxicated driver at 10:05 p.m. along I-20.
Details at this time place the crash along Interstate 20 in the area of Farm-to-Market 3325. Investigators said in their statements that a 13-year-old girl was a passenger in a Lincoln Continental said to be going westbound along the interstate.

Authorities indicate that traffic began to slow along the freeway due to road construction. As the Lincoln slowed with traffic, it appears a Ford F-250 said to be going "at a high speed" crashed into the Lincoln, resulting in a multi-vehicle chain-reaction collision.
Due to this chain-reaction crash, the 13-year-old in the Lincoln sustained what were described as incapacitating injuries. Several others were said to be possibly injured, but no conditions were confirmed in preliminary reports.
The driver of the Ford was accused of being under the influence of alcohol
