Teen Injured in Alleged Intoxicated Driver Accident on Villa Maria in Bryan, TX

Bryan, TX — July 15, 2023, a teenager was injured as the result of an alleged intoxicated driver accident at around 2:31 a.m. along West Villa Maria Road.

According to information about the accident, the incident took place in the area of the West Villa Maria Road and Wellborn Road intersection.

Investigators said that an 18-year-old was riding in a Dodge Ram Truck driven by a 20-year-old man. That vehicle was said to be going northbound along Wellborn. At Villa Maria, the vehicle continued straight through the T-intersection, crashing into a retaining wall on the opposite side of the roadway.

Due to the collision, the 18-year-old sustained injuries described as incapacitating. The other two in the vehicle reportedly had no injuries. Authorities allege that the driver of the Dodge was intoxicated at the time and was reportedly arrested for intoxication assault. No further information can be confirmed at this time.
