One Injured in Single-Vehicle Truck Accident on F.M. 696 in Lee County, TX

Lee County, TX — July 28, 2023, one person was injured in a single-vehicle accident around 7:22 a.m. on .M. 696 in Lee County.

Authorities say the victim's Freightliner semi-truck was traveling west when for some unreported reason the truck began to swerve in and out of the oncoming traffic lane. The victim reportedly tried to regain control of the truck, but the Freightliner then veered off the road toward the passenger side and overturned.

The truck driver reportedly sustained serious injuries.

Authorities have not released any other details at this time.
