Cody Lee Mitchell Killed in Single-Vehicle Accident on U.S. Hwy. 287 in Wichita County, TX

Wichita County, TX — August 31, 2023, Cody Lee Mitchell was killed in a single-vehicle accident around 11:48 p.m. on U.S. Hwy. 287 in Wichita County.

According to investigators, the victim's motorcycle was attempting to exit the highway at the Wellington Lane exit when his vehicle somehow veered off the road and struck a guard rail.

Mr. Mitchell suffered fatal injuries.
