Teenager Injured in Car Accident on Walzem Road in Windcrest, TX

Bexar County, TX — August 7, 2023, a teenager was injured as the result of a single-vehicle car accident at around 4:47 a.m. along Walzem Road.

Investigations at this time show that the crash took place in the area of Walzem Road/F.M. 1976 and Midcrown Drive.

According to officials, a 17-year-old girl was said to be the driver of a Dodge Charger. Details suggest the Charger was driving eastbound along Walzem. For reasons which are not confirmed right now, the vehicle lost control and veered left off the side of the road. There, the vehicle crashed into a sign outside of a business.

The teen driver sustained injuries which were described as incapacitating. There did not appear to be anyone else involved in the car crash. Right now, no further information can be released.
