Jose Rodriguez Segura Injured in Car Accident in Lufkin, TX

Lufkin, TX — August 12, 2023, Jose Rodriguez Segura was injured as the result of a single-vehicle accident at around 1:30 a.m. along Chestnut Street.

According to officials, the incident happened at the intersection of North Chestnut Street and Conn Avenue.

Investigators said that 45-year-old Jose Rodriguez Segura was in a Chevy Colorado reportedly going southwest along Chestnut. Approaching the Conn, Rodriguez Segura's vehicle somehow went off the side of the road. There, the vehicle crashed with a utility pole.

The crash resulted in Rodriguez Segura sustaining injuries described as incapacitating. There did not appear to be any other individuals involved in the accident. Right now, the cause of the crash cannot be confirmed pending investigations.
