Michael Holcomb Killed in Truck Accident on Hollyberry Lane in Plainville, CT

Plainville, CT — August 2, 2023, Michael Holcomb was killed in a tree-cutting truck accident around 9 a.m. on Hollyberry Lane in Plainville.

According to investigators, the victim was in the bucket of the truck when the truck's boom failed and both Mr. Holcomb and the bucket fell. The victim was reportedly rushed to New Britain Hospital but later perished on Sunday, August 6, due to the injuries sustained in the accident.

Investigators have not released what factors led up to the accident.
