Mukti Gurung Killed in Multi-Truck Accident on Highway 114 in Denton County, TX

Denton County, TX — August 30, 2023, Mukti Gurung was killed in a multi-truck accident around 5:40 a.m. on Highway 114 in Denton County.

According to investigators, the victim's Toyota Camry was heading west on Hwy. 114, near the intersection with S. County Line Rd. when it allegedly rear-ended a Peterbilt and its trailer. Gurung then exited the Camry and was struck by a westbound Kenworth dump truck and its trailer.

Mukti Gurung suffered fatal injuries.

Reports indicate authorities have not determined the cause of the initial crash.
