Ricardo Pinon Cuevas Killed in Pedestrian-Car Accident on F.M. 297 in Sherman County, TX

Sherman County, TX — August 31, 2023, Ricardo Pinon Cuevas was killed in a pedestrian-car accident around 4:30 a.m. on F.M. 297 in Sherman County.

According to authorities, Mr. Cuevas was involved in a prior 2-vehicle accident and had exited his vehicle when he was struck by a Ford Escape. The Escape driver allegedly told authorities he had no time to stop when he saw the crash and instead attempted to navigate his vehicle between the two vehicles in order to avoid a collision.

The victim was reportedly in between the two vehicles and suffered fatal injuries from his collision with the Ford Escape. No other injuries were reported.
