Phillip Wade Carr Killed in Car Accident on Highway 199 in Jack County, TX

Jack County, TX — September 2, 2023, Phillip Wade Carr was killed in a car accident around 9:38 a.m. at Highway 199 and F.M. 2210 in Jack County.

Authorities report Mr. Carr's northbound Ford F-150 was crossing through the intersection when an F-250 truck and its trailer, headed east on F.M. 2210, allegedly disregarded a stop sign and struck Mr. Carr’s vehicle.

Phillip Wade Carr, 49, suffered fatal injuries, while the other driver was reportedly taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
