Joseph Bott Killed, One Injured in UTV Accident in Campbellsville, KY

Campbellsville, KY — September 4, 2023, Joseph Bott was killed in a crash involving a UTV off-road vehicle on Hatcher Road in Campbellsville, KY.

Authorities indicate that on September 4, a fatal crash involving a utility terrain vehicle occurred in Campbellsville for unknown reasons. According to reports, the crash happened sometime before 3:30 a.m. on Hatcher Road.

Investigators say the UTV was traveling westbound along Hatcher Road when it suddenly drove off the road and flipped over. Police say the UTV driver lost control of the vehicle while navigating a curve in the road.

Officials confirmed the driver, 42-year-old Joseph Bott, suffered fatal injuries. A passenger in the UTV sustained serious injuries and was flown to an area hospital. No other injuries were reported, and no other vehicles were involved.

The investigation is ongoing.
